I wrote a book! Choose Joy

I wrote a book! Choose Joy

I'm sure you've heard it before, but creating and writing a book is like birthing a baby. It takes 9 months give or take, but the beauty is here! I'd like to introduce you to Choose Joy: Quilting with Intention.

This idea started as a few simple quilt blocks, which became 30 blocks. It's a book, a journal, a way for you to connect with what you were making. You don't want to make another collection of blocks. I wanted this quilt to mean something, and it became all about choosing joy. Each of the 30 blocks is a reminder of 30 things that bring joy, happiness, and warm-hearted smiles. As a book and journal, you'll get the opportunity to name each of your own 30 joys, sew together 30 quilt blocks that remind you of what fills your cup.

Keep it, share it with a friend or loved one who needs a reminder to choose to see the joy in their life every day. It's not always an easy thing to do, but it gives the sunshine, lifts, and shimmer to our lives. We need this! In between the mommy-ing, cleaning, errand running, laundry, and well-intentioned life goals we all try to master it's all too easy to let our happiness slide. Choose happiness.

The book is also designed to make 20 smaller projects using just a few of your favorite blocks. Overall, this quilt is a not guilt quilt. It's much more about the process, the reminiscing, and focusing on the good.

Choose Joy is filled with questions and writing prompts along the way. Of course, the book is complete with fully illustrated step-by-step instructions to teach you how to sew up the 30 blocks. I hope you enjoy it!
