Color Theory

Part 1

Learn a whole college semester worth of color know-how in the context of textiles.

This course is recommended for anyone working in a quilt shop. It gives a solid color theory foundation then adds the concepts to the principles found in fabric and how to integrate them beautifully into quilting. Painters paint with solids. Quilters make art by cutting up many textile arts then sewing them back together to create a new pattern.

  • 16 video classes with corresponding workbook exercises

  • 100 + page bound Lemon-Aid Color workbook

  • 4 color wheels with rotating center disc

  • Video courses will be available to rewatch for 12 months after purchase, but everything covered will covered in detail in the workbook if you need to come back and review at any time.

Merchandising Magic Sugar

Part 2

Builds on everything you’ve learned in Lemon+Aid Color Theory Part 1 and how to implement it in your shop.

Prerequisite of Lemon-Aid Color Theory course is recommended, but if you feel like your particular shop has a good grasp of the concept, then yes, just enroll in Merchandising Magic, but please email me first so I can confirm this is the best fit for your shop.

Who am I to teach Color Theory & Merchandising?

I am a trained architect, licensed fabric designer, an artist, and color lover. I have been merchandising my own space and others for the past 15 years. Read more about me.

FAQ

Q: Is this an affiliate program?

A: No. Neither of the courses described above are affiliate programs. Rather these are a training designed to help you improve your customers shopping experience from top to bottom. If you would like to share Lemon+Aid Color Theory for Quilters with your customers you can direct them here.

Q: Why only 12 months of access?

A: Within 12 months you will have plenty of time to view the videos, refer back, and implement the principles in your shop. Also, you will have the masterclass workbook for reference forever.

Q: How & when will I receive my materials?

A: You will be mailed your workbooks, color wheels, and video courses will be emailed to you. All the videos will also be posted on a private page on this website and available to you for a full year.

Q: Will you come teach at our shop?

A: Yes, If you would like to have me come and teach an in-person 3 hour color theory workshop at your shop for your customers I am happy to do so. Please contact me for details and availability.
